Chapter One

Mandy walked down the street, chatting away on her cell phone.  The night sky had come out, littered with stars.  She was headed towards her dorm at Mali-U.

"I know!  They're such posers!" She blabbed.

She reached the dorm rooms and she was about to open the door when someone tapped her on the shoulder.  She turned around, ready to bite someone's head off when she felt a small pinch on her arm.

"OW!" She yelled, rubbing her arms.  "What the heck was that?"

She had dropped her phone.  She reached to pick up when she stopped to think.  She hung up on the person she had been talking to and dialed another number.

"Is this Peter's Perfect Pizza?" She asked.  "I'd like to order a small pizza.  Actually, make it a large with extra cheese, pepperoni, sausage, ham and bacon.  You know what?  Make it two pizzas. Oh and I'd like some breadsticks.  About four or five orders will be enough.  Could you maybe give me some soda too?"

"Did you hear about the new Tofu Milkshake Diet?" Clover asked Alex.

"Yeah, I've heard of it.  Donny Lepp was on it I think."

"Oh those new fangled diets don't really work," Sam sighed.  "The only way for a person to maintain a healthy weight is to eat right and exercise."

"Aw come on Sammy," Clover said.  "How do you know if you don't try?"

Sam was about to speak when the trio collided with a large obstacle.  The girls went sent backwards, collapsing on the floor in a heap.  

"Owie, that hurt!" Alex whined as she rubbed her bottom.

"What did we hit anyways?" Clover asked.

"Outta my way losers!"

"Mandy?" The girls chorused.

Well, the girls thought it was Mandy.  The person had Mandy's voice but the girls couldn't see her face.  In fact, all they could see was a huge, bulbous belly.  It was this object that they had bumped into.  The purple blouse that was supposed to be over the stomach couldn't cover it, leaving the belly in the open.

The girls managed to stand up.  Once they did, they gasped as they saw who they had bumped into.

It was indeed their arch enemy, Mandy.

She had the same long, black hair and the same beauty mark but she still looked completely different.  Not only was her stomach huge but she was carrying plastic bags filled with takeout food.  In both of her hands she held ice cream cones and around her neck was a necklace made out of what appeared to be meat balls.  She even was wearing a crown made out of onion rings.

"Mandy, is that---is that you?" Clover asked.

"No its Queen America! Of course it's me!" Mandy snapped, licking some of her ice cream.  "Now move it!  I have a meeting with an all you can eat buffet!"

The girls watched as their enemy waddled away.  She managed to squeeze out of the school through the double doors.  For a while, they didn't say anything. The shock left them dumbfounded.  Finally, Sam snapped back to reality and spoke.

"You guys saw that, right?" She asked.

"It looked like a whale that dressed up like Mandy." Alex said.

"Talk about a realistic dream!" Clover rubbed her eyes.  "I mean we're talking about Mandy here.  I don't think I've ever seen her eat a cheeseburger or even a piece of candy!"

"I know this may sound weird but I think we should follow her." Sam said.

"That's not a bad idea!  Can you say blackmail?" Clover smiled as she took out her pink camera.

Using their awesome spy skills, the girls followed Mandy to the buffet.  Well, they did follow her to the buffet but they found her stopping at many different spots.  First, they stopped at a hot dog stand where she ordered three hotdogs with all the works.  Then, she stopped for ice cream again, this time getting two cones with three scoops of ice cream with fudge, nuts, whipped and of course, a cherry.  Even after that, Mandy stopped at another food stand where she purchased five gyros along with a three orders of chili cheese fries.

"How long have we been following her?" Alex yawned as she and her friends watched Mandy from behind a bench.

"We've been following her for two hours and we haven't even seen one single buffet!" Sam sighed.  "Well, she can't make anymore stops."

Sam didn't know how wrong she was.

At a pretzel kiosk, Mandy bought about twenty different pretzels along with a side of garlic dipping sauce which she drank. They girls all gagged but they followed Mandy to a dinky little restaurant where she ordered over fifty corn dogs, three orders of large onion rings, four triple cheeseburgers and one super extra large chocolate milkshake.

The fact that Mandy kept ordering food at every stop wasn't really the main thing that surprised the girls.  It was the way Mandy devoured the food.  She stuffed burgers into her mouth without even choking!  In fact, she just chewed and swallowed them.  It was the same with the wieners and corn dogs.  The sides like the fries and onion rings she just grabbed handfuls of and stuffed them into her mouth.  

Another thing that shocked them was Mandy's newly acquired belly.  With each bite of food she ate, her stomach would grow ever so slightly.  Since they had been following her, her stomach had doubled in size since they first saw it.  More shocking than that was her manners as Mandy smacked, burped and hiccupped all the way through town.

Finally, they reached Mandy's destination.  It was extremely late this time but the girls were still were curious and wanted to see where Mandy was going.  It turned out to be a buffet called the Golden Light Buffet.  Upon seeing it, Mandy screamed in delight.

"I'm here!  Good, I'm starving!" She said with a loud burp.

"Starving?  How can she still be hungry?" Alex asked.

"I don't know.  Something weird is going on." Sam whispered.

Suddenly, Sam's Compowder beeped.  She pulled it out and opened it, seeing a flickering hologram of Jerry.

"Spies, I'm glad you're all here," He said.  "There have been some reports of missing girls from Beverly Hills.  From the GPS on your Compowder, it seems like you're in the right place."

"Huh?" Clover asked.

"Well, the girls who had gone missing were last seen at your location.  Are you in front of a buffet?"

"Yes, we are," Alex promised.  "Wait, all these girls were last seen at this buffet?"

"All this girls had increased appetites and increased weight gain as well," Jerry continued.  "They also all received unlimited coupons from this restaurant."

"Okay, that is weird," Clover admitted.  "We're on it Jer but we need some gadgets."

"No problem! Look in the mailbox."

The girls stared at each other but they followed their boss' instructions.  They reached into the mailbox and they pulled out a bag.

"In that bag you'll find the Laser Lipstick, the Pogo-Bounce Sandals, Tornado in a Can of Hairspray, the Hairpick Lockpick and Antigravity Propulsion Rings," Jerry explained.  "Be careful girls and good luck!"
